Mariah Carey Quarantine Performances: Vote for Your Favorite!
Mariah Carey has been letting her vocals soar freely throughout quarantine to celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Emancipation of Mimi. But of all the tracks she’s brought back for special performances, which one is your favorite?
From her 1995 album Daydream, Mimi took over the “iHeart Living Room Concert for America” special at the end of March with her No. 1 smash “Always Be My Baby,” dedicated to Dem Babies staying at home during the coronavirus pandemic.
Once April hit, Carey spent the week leading up to the Emancipation anniversary date on Easter Sunday, bringing back fan favorites from “It’s Like That” to “Your Girl” to “Stay the Night” to the No. 1 breakout single “We Belong Together” to “Fly Like a Bird.”
Carey later dedicated her 1993 No. 1 hit “Hero” to all the healthcare heroes fighting COVID-19 on the frontlines. “I want to take this time to acknowledge and honor the sacrifices of those who work every day taking care of their communities in this time of need and uncertainty,” she said before breaking into the song. “The heroes who are making our daily lives possible. Let’s continue to support them and each other.”
So which of Mimi’s performances are getting the Lambs through quarantine? Vote below!
