Justin Bieber's Lost Cat Found by Another Celebrity
Justin Bieber is feline good on Friday (March 6) after finding his cat Sushi, who had been missing for weeks — until another famous face tracked him down.
“Almost a month ago, my pal sushi decided to run away,” Bieber wrote in an Instagram caption. “After weeks passing by Hailey and began to lose hope that our baby was gone.
“Yesterday we got a call that somebody found our baby.. it had made it Miles and miles away! He looks extremely skinny and has a very sad miow, he is home now safe and sound! Thank you god for protecting him!”
In a bizarre twist of fate, the cat was found by another celebrity: Sandra Lee. The chef and author told her side of the story Instagram as well, writing that she and her best friend knew the cat was special as soon as he wandered into her backyard because he looked like a “baby lynx.”
“He was starving, cold, scared, exhausted and stuck with porcupine quills — but he was happy and excited all at the same time,” Lee wrote. “Three (3) cans of tuna and a bowl of warm milk later the painful Quills have been removed and we are cuddling on the couch- drowsy and milk drunk the purring baby was calmed so we took the collar off and called the number.”
The number on that collar led straight to Bieber and a joyous reunion with his beloved cat. “Now I am Aunt Sandy to Bieber Baby Lynx of a cat!” she concluded.
The “Intentions” singer purchased Sushi and another partially exotic kitten Tuna back in October, causing a catfight with PETA after the organization’s senior vice president Lisa Lange said he contributed to the “animal population crisis” by not adopting.
